The Role
We're seeking a seasoned IT Recruiter with a strong understanding of IT resource augmentation to join our growing team. You'll play a vital role in identifying, attracting, and placing top IT talent to fulfill our client's project needs. This is a fast-paced, results-oriented role where you'll leverage your expertise to build strong relationships with both clients and developers.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients to understand their specific project requirements, ideal developer profiles, and project timelines.
- Deep dive into the IT talent market to source qualified developers with the necessary skills and experience for each project, utilizing various channels like online platforms (LinkedIn, niche developer communities), headhunting, and employee referrals.
- Pre-screen candidates, assess their technical skills and cultural fit through phone screenings and technical assessments, shortlisting the most promising individuals.
- Conduct in-depth interviews (technical and behavioral) to evaluate candidates' problem-solving abilities, coding skills, project experience, and communication style.
- Negotiate rates and terms with developers on behalf of clients, ensuring a win-win situation for all parties.
- Manage the entire placement process, from initial contact to offer acceptance and onboarding with the client's team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and developers, fostering long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Track key recruitment metrics (placements, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire) and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of your sourcing strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest IT skill sets, technologies, and industry trends within the resource augmentation space.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT recruitment, specifically within the IT Resource Augmentation industry.
- Proven track record of successfully placing IT talent for client projects, demonstrably exceeding hiring goals.
- In-depth understanding of IT project requirements, development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and various IT skill sets (programming languages, frameworks).
- Strong technical knowledge of popular programming languages, frameworks, and technologies (familiarity with a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, developers, and internal teams.
- Adept at negotiation and able to secure mutually beneficial placements for both clients and developers.
- Proactive, resourceful, and highly organized with a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting software.
