The Role
We're seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager (BDM) with a proven track record in the IT Resource Augmentation industry to join our growing team. You'll be a strategic hunter, driving revenue growth by building and nurturing strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on the IT resource augmentation market, identifying and qualifying new client opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth market research to stay current on industry trends, competitor landscape, and emerging technologies within the IT resource augmentation space.
- Proactively prospect and target high-growth companies with critical IT talent needs.
- Craft compelling presentations and proposals that showcase the value proposition of AugmntX's services in solving client's specific resource augmentation challenges.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to negotiation, contract closure, and client onboarding.
- Negotiate and secure high-value contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at client companies.
- Develop and deliver impactful presentations and demos to educate clients on AugmntX's offerings and competitive advantages
- Exceed assigned sales targets and quotas, contributing significantly to AugmntX's revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (recruiting, account management) to ensure a seamless client experience throughout the engagement process.
- Track key sales metrics (conversion rates, deal size, sales cycle length) and analyze data to optimize sales strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Business Development, preferably within the IT Resource Augmentation industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving significant revenue growth.
- In-depth understanding of IT project lifecycles, resource augmentation models, and the challenges faced by companies seeking top IT talent.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify client needs and propose customized solutions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of the sales cycle and experience with sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC) is a plus.
