The Role
We're seeking a results-oriented Account Executive with a strong understanding of the IT Resource Augmentation industry to join our growing team. You'll play a vital role in managing and growing existing client relationships, ensuring their continued success in finding top IT talent for their project needs.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with assigned clients to understand their ongoing IT project requirements, evolving development team needs, and ideal developer profiles within the IT resource augmentation space.
- Proactively source and present qualified IT talent options based on client needs, ensuring a consistent flow of top candidates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the client engagement process, keeping them informed of interview schedules, candidate evaluations, project progress, and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key contacts at client companies, acting as a trusted advisor and exceeding their expectations.
- Negotiate and finalize project renewals and upsell/cross-sell AugmntX's services within the IT resource augmentation space to maximize client lifetime value.
- Track key account management metrics (project placements, renewals, net promoter score) and report on the effectiveness of your strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (recruiters, client success managers) to ensure a seamless client experience throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in IT resource augmentation to provide valuable insights to clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in an Account Management or Customer Success role, preferably within the IT Resource Augmentation industry.
- Proven track record of building and nurturing strong client relationships, achieving high client satisfaction rates, and exceeding account targets.
- In-depth understanding of IT project lifecycles, development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and various IT skill sets (programming languages, frameworks).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
- Strong understanding of client needs and the ability to propose customized solutions within the IT resource augmentation space.
- Proactive, resourceful, and highly organized with a strong work ethic and a data-driven approach.
- Experience with CRM systems a plus.
