This page explains how SuperCommerce Checkout may collect, use and retain information submitted through this website and how recorded content may be edited, published and distributed.
1. Information we may collect
Names, roles, organisations, email addresses, public profile links, nomination details, correspondence, scheduling information, recordings, transcripts and related production materials.
2. Why information is used
- To evaluate editorial fit and contact potential guests.
- To schedule, prepare, record and produce episodes.
- To create guest pages, clips, transcripts and editorial summaries.
- To respond to enquiries, corrections and privacy concerns.
- To maintain reasonable records of consent and production decisions.
3. Guest nominations
Submitters should provide professional information relevant to the proposed appearance and avoid private or sensitive personal information.
4. Recording consent
Guests should receive recording and content-use information before the interview. Recording should begin only after the guest understands that audio and video may be edited, published and distributed.
5. How recordings may be used
- Full-length video and audio episodes.
- Edited clips, trailers and social excerpts.
- Transcripts, quotations, captions and summaries.
- Guest profile pages, articles and educational resources.
- Promotional material for SuperCommerce Checkout.
Edits should preserve the reasonable meaning and context of the guest’s statements. The podcast should not create deceptive endorsements or materially misleading excerpts.
6. Editorial review and corrections
Guests should not assume unrestricted final approval unless separately agreed in writing. Legitimate concerns involving factual accuracy, private information, confidentiality or material misrepresentation will be reviewed in good faith.
7. Commercial relationships
Paid partnerships, sponsorships or material commercial relationships should be clearly labelled and should not be disguised as independent editorial guest selection.
8. Retention and security
Information should be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for outreach, production, legal records, content management and legitimate business operations. Access should be limited to people and providers who need it.
9. Service providers
The final site may use form, email, scheduling, recording, analytics, storage and publishing providers. The live policy should identify material providers or categories where required.
10. Requests and concerns
People may request correction of contact information, withdrawal from guest consideration or review of a privacy concern. Requests about published content will be assessed against editorial, legal and public-interest considerations.
